What is InsideJob Signs?
InsideJob Signs makes 18×24 QR yard signs for contractors: a neighbor scans the sign at a job, Val — the contractor's AI assistant — answers, and the owner is alerted the second it happens. It works for any trade the neighbors can see — painters, roofers, landscapers, remodelers, HVAC, electricians, plumbers and more.
Is there an app?
Yes. InsideJob installs on your phone straight from the web — no app store — and scans, messages and leads come in as notifications. It works on iPhone and Android.
What actually happens when someone scans the sign?
They land on a page about the job you're working — the work, photos, what your crew does. An assistant answers their questions right there. You get an alert the moment they scan, and another one the moment they say something real.
Can I jump into the conversation?
Yes. Every alert has a button that drops you straight into the chat. There's a second button for when you're still on the property: tap it and the neighbor is told you're walking out to meet them.
What does it cost?
$399 to start — that includes your first sign. Then $49/month per sign, or $480/year per sign. Each sign after the first is $99 to print. A sign's plan starts the day it's first scanned.
Do I print the sign?
No. You pick a look and your color when you sign up. A professional sign shop prints it and ships it to you. When it arrives, scan it once — that turns it on.
Do I need a new sign for every job?
No. A sign is reusable. When you finish a job, point that same sign at the next one from your phone. A good rule of thumb is one sign per truck.
How long does the sign stay in the yard?
While the job is on, with the homeowner's OK. When you finish, point the same sign at your next job from your phone — its page follows the sign.
Why isn't there a phone number on the sign?
So every contact comes through the scan: counted, answered by Val when you can't pick up, and on your phone the second it happens. The page's web address is printed under the code for anyone who'd rather type.
Does it say the homeowner's name or what their job cost?
Never. The page shows the street or the neighborhood, the work and your crew. No house number, no homeowner, no price.
