With InsideJob, the neighbor who scanned your sign becomes an estimate: Val drafts it from your own price list, you check it and send it, and your customer accepts it right on the page by typing their name. When the work's done, the same page becomes the invoice. Your customer pays you directly — InsideJob never touches the money. Estimates and invoices are included with every sign and magnet plan.
How does Val draft an estimate from my price list?
You save the work you quote most, each with your price, in Settings. When a lead comes in from your sign, Val matches the words the neighbor used to the lines on your list — “porch” puts your porch line on the estimate, “exterior” puts your exterior line on. Every line and every price comes from your list. Nothing is made up.
Val starts each line at one. You set the quantities, check the prices and send it. Val never sets a price, and never quotes one to the neighbor.
On a phone that can listen, you can also say the rest: tap Say it and talk a line at a time — “exterior body, 1,600 square feet” lands at that quantity, at your price. Anything that isn't on your list comes back as words, for you to add and price yourself. The totals are worked out for you.
How does my customer get the estimate and accept it?
Send it from InsideJob — an email in your company's name with the link and a PDF — or open it in your own email with the message and the link already written. Your phone buzzes when they open it.
They accept right on the page by typing their name and tapping Accept, and you get an alert with the total the same minute. If it goes quiet, Val checks in on day 3 and day 7 with the link — never a price — and stops when they answer.
How does the estimate become the invoice?
Once it's accepted and the work's done, you make the invoice: pick when it's due — on receipt, in 7 days, in 15 days or in 30 days — and write how they pay you. The page they already have becomes the invoice: the same number, the total they accepted, the due date and how to pay. Send it the same ways, and mark it paid when the money comes in.
Do you handle my customer's payment?
No. We never touch your money — your customer pays you. InsideJob doesn't process your customer's payments: they pay you directly, by check, cash, Zelle or your own card reader, and you mark the invoice paid. The quote, the work and the bill are between you and your customer.
What does it cost?
Nothing extra. Estimates and invoices are included with every sign and magnet plan — $49 a month per sign or magnet — for your whole company, from day one.
What is the Inside Job Discount?
An amount or a percent off the estimate when your customer lets your sign stand in their yard while you work. When it's on, they choose as they accept: the sign in the yard with the discount, or no sign at the full price. Their choice is saved with their yes.
If they said yes to the sign, you can order that job's sign in one tap: $99 to print each extra sign or magnet, then $49/month for it.
How does the review ask work?
When you mark the invoice paid, tick “Ask for a Google review” and Val emails your customer once, from your company's name, with your Google review link. Everyone gets the same ask, and nothing is offered for a review. You'll see when they open the review page.
It needs your Google review link in Settings and your customer's email on the estimate.
